Hyundai is well known for creating vehicles that are comfortable, safe, enjoyable to drive, and loaded with features. And with over a dozen nameplates representing the most competitive automotive segments, you can find something for almost everyone in the Hyundai lineup. After 2022 saw a bevy of changes, including an all-new EV and several new-generation upgrades, Hyundai's extensive roster carries into 2023 mostly the same. However, there are few notable updates. Here's a quick summary of the currently-known changes to Hyundai's lineup for next year.

  • 2023 Palisade: Hyundai's three-row midsize SUV receives a few flagship-worthy enhancements for 2023, including even bolder styling, with a more squared-offer front end, an assertive new grille, and dynamic lighting elements. Inside, the 2023 Palisade gets available seating upgrades like an Ergo-motion massaging driver's seat, ventilated second-row seats, and heated third-row seats. All trims equip a stunning high-res 12-inch infotainment touchscreen. And Highway Driving Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and a rugged XRT trim level arrive in the lineup for the first time.

  • Accent: Hyundai's subcompact sedan has been discontinued due to the automaker's expanding SUV lineup. The Venue subcompact crossover takes over as the entry-level nameplate for the brand.

  • Veloster N: The Veloster N lingered for another year after the discontinuation of the regular Veloster. However, it has now been discontinued as Hyundai focuses on expanding the N Brand with models like the Kona N and Elantra N.

  • Ioniq Hybrid and PHEV: Hyundai has significantly expanded its electrified lineup with models like the Elantra Hybrid, Sonata Hybrid, Tucson Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid, Santa Fe Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid, Kona Electric, IONIQ 5, and upcoming IONIQ 6. As such, the company is discontinuing the Ioniq Hybrid and Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid nameplates.
