The Hyundai Palisade is getting a major redesign for the 2026 model year. This midsize SUV will feature a bold new look, upgraded interior, and enhanced capabilities. Here at Hyundai of Noblesville, we're excited to share what we know so far about the upcoming 2026 Palisade.
Boxy New Exterior Design
The 2026 Palisade trades the current model's smooth lines for a more squared-off, rugged appearance. The front fascia sports a large rectangular grille flanked by blocky headlamps. Streamlined bodywork, lower body cladding, and simplified pillar designs complete the dominant aesthetic.
The profile reveals what's called a "floating roof" design, giving a modern two-tone look on some variants. At the rear, expect a chiseled tailgate with an integrated spoiler and concealed exhaust tips for a clean finish.
Spacious, Upscale Interior
Inside, the new Palisade will provide an airy, premium aesthetic. The cabin takes inspiration from Hyundai's upcoming Ioniq 7 electric SUV, featuring unique design elements on the doors and trim. Seating configurations will include a seven-passenger setup and available second-row captain's chairs. A massive curved digital gauge cluster and infotainment screen will be the focal point of the dash. There will also be plush leather seats, door panels, and a dashboard for a truly luxurious feel.
Advanced Technology Features
Expect the 2026 Palisade to offer the latest in-demand tech, such as wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, a wireless charging pad, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view camera system that also acts as a blind-spot monitor. Configurable ambient interior lighting will let you set the perfect mood.
Efficient New Powertrains
While official details have not been released, the new Palisade will likely offer a fuel-efficient 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid system. A more powerful 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 should also be available. The 2026 Palisade will ride on a slightly larger platform. This will provide even more passenger space, especially for those in the second and third rows.
